Sape: The Sound of the Rainforest
Led by choreographer, musician, fire-breather and educator Munirih Jebeni, this session begins with a soulful performance by the ensemble, blending traditional and modern Sapé styles.
Participants will then get hands-on in a live demo, with the chance to try playing the Sapé themselves.
The experience wraps up with a shared learning moment, where everyone is guided through playing a basic traditional Sapé melody together.
