    Revel in Nostalgia as MPO Presents Mandarin Classics at DFP

    The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) presents Symphony of Memories: A Journey Through Mandarin Classics on 28 March 2026, 8.00 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS.

    Following past successes such as Teresa Teng Tribute Concert, Celestial Serenade, and Symphony of Memories: Nostalgic Hong Kong Classics, the MPO continues its celebration of Mandarin favourites with fresh symphonic arrangements under conductor Francis Kan. The programme features beloved classics including Night After Night, Olive Tree, Rainbow, Choice, and a crossover highlight from Carmen. Guest vocalists Janet Lee, Izen Kong, Layla Sania, and Daniel Cheah join the orchestra for an evening of nostalgic hits from the golden era of Mandarin music.
